Whether you’d like support with auditions, information with progressing into HE or simply want a taste of a University Drama lecture, we have provided a series of talks and workshops to help.
Drama and Performance – University Taster
This workshop is split into two parts, A talk that explores the different routes into higher education and student life as a drama student and a practical workshop that gives a taste of a lecture at university. For this workshop we have several subjects to cover. Below is a list of the specific practical workshops you can choose to go with the talk. We can also offer a series of workshops running over a number of weeks to cover all of this content for your students.
- Stereotypes and spontaneous improvisation
- Grotowski’s ‘The Wave’ and Personal Props
- Exploring your environment – using sound and space
- Developing work with theatre practitioners (We have a list of practitioners we will use but feel free to make any requests and we can see what we can do for you.)
