Full event details

This talk is to provide students with information on how they can enhance their application, whether that is for a part time or full time employment, FE college, apprenticeship or HE. The topics covered will include the purpose of work experience and what transferable skills are and how to apply them. We will touch upon the different types of platforms employers use to advertise jobs, what a person statement and cover letter consists of, and the range of interviews that they could be faced with. To conclude we will establish what a CV is, what is included and some additional resources to help learners with this process.
