We offer a range of dynamic and engaging talks designed to prepare students for all aspects of university life. Our sessions are flexible, combining topics and adjusting in length to fit school timetables

Our sessions include:

  • Discover University – Perfect for Year 11/12 students, this session introduces higher education and what it can offer.
  • What Next? – Designed for Year 13, this talk guides students through their post-application options or helps them prepare for the upcoming deadlines.
  • Your Student Experience – A behind-the-scenes look into university life, helping students understand how to make the most of their time at university.
  • Your Essex Student Experience -A behind-the-scenes look into life at The university of Essex including soceities, events and work abroad options.
  • Making University Affordable – A hands-on workshop covering student finance, budgeting, and insights into living costs across different regions.
  • Personal Statement Masterclass – Helping students navigate personal statement writing, including brainstorming and practical tips.
  • Parent/Carer Toolkit – We offer guidance for parents and carers, ensuring they feel confident in supporting their child’s journey to higher education.
  • EPQ Support Session -Designed to introduce students to the requirements of the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ). This session will cover all of the key skills students need when completing their project.

All of our sessions align with Gatsby Benchmarks 1, 3, and 7, providing valuable guidance for students exploring their higher education pathways.
