Join our Crime, Law, and Policing Open Evening to explore our fantastic campus, learn more about our Crime, Law, and Policing degrees, and chat with current students, lecturers, and support staff.

You’ll also be able to take part in one of the following engaging taster sessions: 

Law Taster Session:
Law in Society: This workshop is designed to introduce students to law and society (or socio-legal approach) to the study of law, how to recognise the importance of social context to legal analysis, and to equip students with the skills required to undertake socio-legal analysis and research.

Criminology Taster Session:
Bloodlands: Unveiling the Horrors of Genocide and Crimes Against Humanity: This session will delve into the darkest aspects of modern history to explore the regions where genocide, ethnic cleansing, and systematic war crimes have occurred. It will shed light on the perpetrators, victims, and the global implications of these atrocities. With a focus on the Rwandan Genocide, we will uncover the human cost of these crimes and examine the international efforts to seek justice, accountability, and prevention. Join us for a sobering yet crucial discussion on the enduring impact of crimes against humanity. 

Policing Taster Session:
Exploring the Challenges of Policing Mental Health and Managing Missing Persons: Discover the complex challenges police face in managing mental health in communities and the vital role of risk assessment in handling missing persons cases. Gain insight into real-world policing scenarios and see how this degree equips you for a rewarding career in law enforcement.
