Media
Building a Character: Build a storyline in a particular genre and create a character for your story. Decide what kind of character they will be and what role they will play.
English
Flash Fiction: Develop your writing in a fast-paced writing workshop to produce some of your own creative work.
Journalism
Viral Content: What are the secret ingredients of the latest viral meme, and how can you unlock those techniques to make your content spread like wildfire on the web.
Sports Journalism
Reporting Sport Live: An interactive taster session to sample life as a sports journalist, and to learn how to cover a live event.
Fashion Journalism
Autumn/Winter Styling Challenge: Learn how fashion stylists work and create an Instagram-worthy AW24 fashion flatlay. You'll also style a trend-led outfit on our mannequin, take images, and publish a style article on our fashion website, Fashion North.
Social Media Management
TikTok Transitions: A hands-on workshop where you'll get an opportunity to explore the different styles of transitions that can be used in TikTok content.
