Full event details

Electrical and electronic engineers (EEE) are responsible for designing and building much of the infrastructure that underpins everyday life. In this taster session we will explore the EEE domain by building and testing a simple electronic system. We will learn about the inputs and outputs to the system: LEDs; ultrasonic transducers and electric motors and how a simple computer programme enables these sensors and actuators to interface to the 'brains' of the system - an Arduino microcontroller. Using a free web-based simulator (Tinkercad), you will build and test your own circuit and customise some computer code. No prior knowledge is necessary.
