Our undergraduate open days focus on foundation, accelerated and integrated master’s degrees. They are a fantastic opportunity to find out how our next-level teaching, outstanding research, world-class industry partners, and hands on learning prepare you to make a difference.
When you book your open day you’ll receive an itinerary so you can plan out your day. As well as interactive talks, guided tours and drop-in advice sessions, staff and students will share their individual experiences of our supportive, boundary-pushing culture.
Talks and tours
Student ambassadors, course leaders, tutors and support staff give a range of subject-specific and general talks and tours of facilities and accommodation. See how we deliver a next generation education through real-world teaching, industry-standard facilities and digital innovation.
Information and support
Ask all your non-course related questions at our information fair. You can meet the student support teams who can help with finance support, wellbeing and accommodation. Find out more about anything from student halls to tuition fees, scholarships, bursaries and part-time work opportunities.
Student life
Whether you want to meet new friends, grab a drink, play sport, pick up a new hobby or enjoy live music, our uplifting, inclusive campus community has something to suit all tastes. After exploring our campuses, you can look at the fantastic amenities on offer in the local area.
Quiet Programme
Open days are busy and can be overwhelming for some of our visitors. Therefore, we have a quiet programme at our Stoke-on-Trent open days. This is designed for students who are impacted by sensory overload, such as on the autism spectrum condition, have hearing or visual impairments, and for applicants who may struggle with social and communication or have anxiety.
This means that a lot of the larger talks and information sessions which would be open to mass audiences are being replicated but for smaller cohorts of students. We have a quiet ‘Why Staffs’ session available in the morning alongside quieter campus tours and a finance talk and our Open Day sessions are generally quieter in the afternoon.
The quiet programme is only available at our Stoke-on-Trent campus due to the size of the event and campus.
