Taking place at the beginning of July 2025, students will experience what life might be like as an international research scientist, visiting the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF) in Grenoble and take part in the Synchrotron@School Programme.
Taking place at the beginning of July 2025, students will experience what life might be like as an international research scientist, visiting the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF) in Grenoble and take part in the Synchrotron@School Programme.
They will also get the opportunity to meet amazing scientists who live and work in Grenoble and also do a little bit of sight seeing in this beautiful French city.
There are sixteen places available, applications are welcome from Year 12 UK Physics and STEM students who identify as female.It is an all-expenses-paid trip - so travel, hotels and food are all covered by XMaS!
Applicants will be expected to have an in-date passport, be able to gain any relevant visas, and be available to travel the first week of July 2025.
