Looking at enhancing your Science Students? This Microscopy Masterclass is being run at the University of Wolverhampton in January 2025. Suitable for Year 12/13.

Full event details

Microscopy Masterclass includes:

training on the use of the microscope
calibration of the microscope
preparation of slides for observation.

The slides will be of an onion root tips that are stained in order to observe different stages of Mitosis.

Students are shown how to measure using the eye piece graticule and how to produce a scientific drawing.

Classes are a full morning running from 9.30 am to 1.00 pm with a break.

The capacity limit is 25 students.
