Short Session Delivered at your school/college or University of Wolverhampton
This session looks at how words are formed with the help of small units in different languages. You will also see how word formation processes in different languages follow regular patterns, and how this can help in learning languages, as well as looking at how words are ordered into phrases and sentences which may be different from English.
This class runs between one to two hours. It is suitable for Year 12 and Year 13 students who are interested in English Language, Linguistics and Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, but also subjects such as Social Work, Psychology and Education.
