Thrill Engineer Professor Brendan Walker reveals the secret art and science behind thrill-seeking - what’s going on in our body and mind, and why we love being scared. Using examples from his own career as a ride designer, and from research conducted at Middlesex University, Brendan will explain why Roller Coasters deliver such intensely thrilling experiences, and asks "could a ride simulator do better?"
