University event offered by Royal Holloway, University of London

In celebration of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science (11th Feb), Royal Holloway, University of London are hosting a ‘Girls Do Engineering’ event. This event is aimed at students in year 11, 12, and 13 and will consist of a mixture of hands-on circuit-building and code-writing, together with an inspirational talk by a female engineer, a tour of the department and the opportunity to chat with current Electronic Engineering students to find out what it is like to work in this field. Our speaker this year is Erica Osakwe, a Royal Holloway alumnus is applying her Engineering skills as an Analyst at CMS Cameron Mckenna Nabarro Olswang LLP, a law firm that embraces innovation, legal tech and AI.
Lunch will be provided free for participants. Parents are welcome to stay, but we will not be able to provide lunch for them. The event will run from 10am to 4:30pm with registration at 9:30am.
