Music: Feeling the Groove. We will explore musical concepts of 'groove' – how it's made, how it's felt and articulated in our bodies, and how it underpins the music we listen to. This is a practical session where you will listen, analyse, and make music! Session B: 11.15 - 12.15pm.
About the event:
The event is an ideal opportunity for Year 12 students researching their options and exploring what it's like to study at university level. It is also a great opportunity for Year 13 students who have not yet applied to university and mature students who are considering returning to learning. Unlike an Open Day, the whole Subject Showcase Day will be full of taster sessions for our subjects. Each session will last 1 hour, and students can attend several sessions. It's a great opportunity for students to explore what they might like to study at university.
