In this Biology/Medicine session, Professor Kate Owen and Dr Nick Hopcroft from the Medical School at the University of Warwick will discuss what makes a good doctor and describe the different options for pursuing a medical career, including undergraduate medical degrees and graduate-entry medicine. They will describe courses that can lead to a range of medicine-related careers, whilst keeping the option of studying to be a doctor open. They will also give insights into what it’s like to study medicine and the support their university offers to non-medical undergraduates interested in going on to study graduate-entry medicine.
This interactive talk will be useful for those who are considering a career in medicine, but might not yet be decided, might be unaware of the different routes or wish to keep their options open.
