Why Keele?
Located in the Staffordshire countryside and just five miles from Stoke-on-Trent, Keele is world-renowned for its breadth of teaching and research that tackles the world's most urgent problems. Explore your academic interests and career aspirations through Keele’s breadth of courses
here.
Keele sets the gold standard for teaching, with some of the most satisfied students in the country – in 2022, students ranked us “Britain’s best university” in the Student Crowd University Awards, and in 2023 we were awarded the highest rating of “Gold” overall in the Teaching Excellence Framework.
We have one of the biggest campuses in Britain to explore – but all accommodation, facilities including a medical centre and pharmacy, and teaching spaces are clustered around the centre, keeping campus facilities within walking distance. Find more about our accommodation
here. The Telegraph also name us as one of the top 10 'most beautiful universities' in Britain (2012). Then jump on the train and we’re less than an hour away from the bright lights of both Manchester and Birmingham!
