Great Reasons to Study at Lincoln

At the University of Lincoln, we aim to help you to achieve your full potential by providing an experience that is academically rigorous, creative, and engaging. We are proud of our reputation for providing a high-quality student experience underpinned by inspirational teaching.

University life is also about so much more than just studying. That’s why everything we do is geared towards giving you the best student experience possible, from our excellent support services which were ranked top 30 out of 130 UK universities in the National Student Survey 2024, to our vibrant Students' Union which provides a wealth of exciting opportunities to make friends and get involved.

Set against the backdrop of a beautiful and historic city, the University of Lincoln sits at the heart of it all on the picturesque Brayford Pool waterfront, with almost everything you’ll need either on campus or just a short walk away. Our selection of modern, university-managed accommodation options are also just a short walk from campus, and were recognised for excellence when we won the Halls and Student Accommodation category in the Whatuni Student Choice Awards 2024.

We’ve invested around £400 million in our Brayford Pool Campus over the last two decades to create the best possible learning environment and a strong foundation to help you achieve your goals. No matter which course you choose, we aim to provide you with high-quality facilities and the latest equipment.

The Lincoln experience

You can gain so much more than a degree during your time at Lincoln – you can broaden your horizons, develop independence, and make lifelong friends and memories. Our Students’ Union puts you at the heart of student life at Lincoln. An independent organisation run on behalf of all University of Lincoln students, it offers representation, support, and a range of exciting activities and events to help make your time here a truly unforgettable experience.

The University also has a growing number of agreements with universities and partner institutions in Europe and around the world offering study abroad programmes.
