Including courses, careers and application tips Ade speaks about logistics and supply chain management, which is a vital aspect of every company and business. Not only are they important for business, but also for humanitarian work.
He explains what a supply chain is, what it involves and how includes many areas such as planning, design, purchasing, manufacturing and distribution. In business, the purpose of supply chain management includes removing communication barriers.
He explains why supply chain management is good for business’, what supply chain managers are required to do and the systematic challenges business’ face such as information failures and human resources.
With this background knowledge provided, Ade goes on to talk about why to study logistics and supply chain management at university, looking at the benefits of studying this type of course. He explains the types of industries you can pursue after university and the industrial partnership universities have with businesses for placements.
Ade provides a degree outline in each year of study; speaks about the range of ways you will be taught and how you will be assessed. Finally, he looks at career prospects for graduates in this field such as procurement executive, supply analyst and international logistics director.
