Advertise in the Practitioners’ Guide 2025

Do you have a product or service designed for those working in student recruitment, outreach, widening participation, and school liaison roles?

If so, you might be interested in advertising in our new Practitioners’ Guide. The guide is written by university practitioners for university practitioners, so it’s a great way to promote your brand to this audience.

Each article offers advice, information, or guidance to university practitioners working in student recruitment, outreach, widening participation, and school liaison roles.

Reach university practitioners

At UniTasterDays, we have very strong links with university practitioners working in student recruitment, outreach, widening participation, and school liaison roles.

Over 120 universities and education networks in England and Wales are UniTasterDays members. We regularly connect with our members to promote our latest services and features, including our Practitioners’ Guide.

This means your advert will reach a large, engaged audience of university staff.

Book your advert

An advert costs £500 + VAT, with a 20% discount for the first 10 companies who book an advert. To book your advert, please email Simon Fairbanks, Head of Community Engagement, at [email protected]

Prepare your advert

Your advert must take the form of a written article. It should offer advice, information, or guidance to university practitioners working in student recruitment, outreach, widening participation, and school liaison roles.

When you book your advert, please share the intended topic of your article. Simon will reply to confirm whether your topic is suitable for our audience.

There is no limit on word count, although we typically suggest 500 to 600 words, if you would welcome a steer. Your article can refer directly to your product or service. It can also include images, videos, and links to your online content.

Your article will also end with a banner featuring text about your company, your logo, and a maximum of two CTA buttons. This is an example of our own sponsored article.

Submit your advert

In summary, you will need to send us:

  • Your article in a Word document
  • Any images or videos you wish to embed throughout your article
  • Text about your company for the banner at the bottom
  • Text and links for the two CTA buttons in the banner
  • Your company logo in white

Creating your advert

Once received, our team will review your advert. We may do a little light-touch editing for consistency, readability, and accessibility. We will also create the online version of your article, with the relevant images, videos, and links.

Publishing your advert

Before we publish, we will send you a preview link to check you are happy with the result. Once you have given your approval, we will publish your article within the Practitioners’ Guide for our audiences to enjoy.
