This careers focused lecture introduces the different career options that University level study of law opens. The lecture explains the varying career routes into the practice of law as a solicitor and barrister. The lecture also focusses on other graduate care er options that law degrees can lead to, and why the study of law is relevant to students contemplating a wide range of different careers.

The Discover Programme consists of subject-specific lectures and workshops aimed at Year 12 or Year 1 college students, delivered by academics that teach at the University.

These sessions are designed to both complement the curriculum and introduce new subject areas.
