This webinar will be an introduction to the Clinical Skills Foundation Course (CSFC), highlighting some of the innovative teaching on the course, including how communication skills are taught using trained actor facilitators and clinical educators.

This webinar will be very informative for prospective medicine applicants as the CSFC runs through the Phase 1 of our MB ChB programme.

Dr Tom Broughton is a GP Partner, GP Trainer and Clinical Skills Foundation Course (CSFC) Unit Lead at The University of Buckingham Medical School. CSFC is a practical course which teaches students communication skills, clinical history taking and examinations. CSFC gives students early clinical exposure with clinical placements at GP surgeries and hospitals, alongside campus-based teaching.
