Founded in 1895 and a university since 1966, Aston is an established, research-led university with a proven history of academic excellence in both teaching and research.

Aston is consistently one of the UK's top universities for graduate employment.

Over the last 15 years, a higher proportion of our graduates have found employment within 6 months of graduation than those of any other UK University, with many major companies targeting our graduates. Our research reputation is outstanding with most of our subject areas achieving a world class Grade 5 rating. Our teaching is also proven to be of excellent quality with Aston achieving a Gold rating in the TEF.

Location

Aston University's location is unique. Our green, compact campus right in the centre of Birmingham gives our students the best of both worlds - all the facilities of a small town within one of Europe's liveliest cities. With around 9,500 students, Aston is known for its friendly, close-knit campus atmosphere, creating the perfect environment for academic success and a fantastic social life.
