Creative and digital hub
We're set in one the UK’s most beautiful award-winning natural locations; boasting spectacular gardens, beaches, forests and a Jurassic coastline classified by UNESCO as a world heritage site.
But it isn’t just beauty, peace and tranquillity that students can take advantage of during their studies at AUB; as Bournemouth itself is also home to one of the fastest growing creative and digital hubs in Europe, with its digital sector supporting more than 7,500 digital jobs and contributing over £340million to the UK economy*. And at AUB, it’s not just a thriving digital and creative environment you’ll graduate into. You’ll be immersed into a richly artistic community right from the start.

What the team offer
From delivering informative presentations, to attending careers fairs, to arranging visits to our inspiring campus, we have a diverse range of outreach activities both on and off campus. We also host events throughout the year for schools and colleges such as portfolio days, art workshops and theatre and dance performances.
On campus activities
We host a range of on-campus activities so that your students can experience life at a creative arts institution first-hand.
- Campus tours - bring your students to AUB’s campus for a guided tour. There are no set dates – you’ll just need half a day.
- Foundation Fast Track Day, Wednesday 22 November - this event is open to all creative students in Year 13 in Sixth Form, Level 2, or Level 3 in college, who are considering applying for the Foundation Diploma. Students will receive personalised portfolio feedback and support from AUB tutors, meet current Foundation students and explore the AUB campus. They will learn all about the course and receive all the guidance they need to apply and take the next step in their creative journey.
- Portfolio Development Day, Friday 24 November – The event is open to all students in Sixth Form and college, interested in studying a creative undergraduate degree or the Foundation Diploma in Art and Design. Students will get opportunity to get expert advice on how to put together a successful portfolio application, with plenty of examples from current students who’ve been there and done it, and a chance to ask lots of questions. They will also get to tour AUB’s creative campus and check out the studios and workspaces they could be studying in.
